Backup site
A backup site that does not depend on the local grid
A single site is a single point of failure. A modular data center with its own power infrastructure is commissioned in months and carries the load for hours without the grid. We work in Russia and in EAEU countries where hosting is lawful for your type of data.

Why distributed redundancy
Single point of failure
A geographically remote backup reduces the risk of business interruption in case of an accident, outage or loss of access to the primary data center.
Months, not years
A modular site is commissioned in 4-6 months with a ready grid connection at the host; conventional construction takes 18-30 months.
Hours of autonomy instead of minutes
OS Power battery storage for 3-4 hours and gensets with fuel reserves: the site does not depend on the stability of the local grid.
Configurations
Three typical options
| Option | IT capacity | Format | Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| A | 100 kW | factory-built IT module with cooling and power distribution | 3-4 h battery storage, genset |
| B | 500 kW | several IT modules or a micro-module, cooling plant | 3-4 h battery storage, N+1 gensets |
| C | 1,200 kW | prefabricated building of modules, cooling plant, 6-35 kV power module | 3-4 h battery storage, N+1 or 2N gensets |
Lawful
What can be hosted abroad
Russian law prohibits the primary collection of personal data of Russian citizens abroad; critical information infrastructure facilities and production banking systems are not moved abroad. Lawful scenarios:
- Backups and archives
- Copies of data and systems, long-term storage.
- Disaster recovery
- A site to which systems fail over if the primary data center fails.
- Model training
- Computing and model training on anonymized data.
- Business in the host country
- Infrastructure for your company operating in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan or Belarus.
Latency
Latency to Moscow
- Minsk
- 13-20 ms (estimate)
- Tashkent
- about 55 ms
- Almaty
- about 60 ms
With latency above 50 ms synchronous replication is ruled out; asynchronous replication works.
Model
Host and OS Power
The host partner provides
- Land and the site
- Power supply and grid connection
- Licenses and resident status
- Connectivity and security
- Capacity lease agreement with the customer
OS Power supplies
- Factory-built data center module
- Battery storage for 3-4 hours of autonomy
- Generation and fuel reserve
- Power equipment and power distribution
- Installation, commissioning and service
A legal assessment of hosting is carried out for the type of workload and data before the contract is signed. Latency values are measurements and estimates as of 10.2026.
