Ratings

Prime and standby: how to read the rating

Power is stated per ISO 8528. The rating determines how many hours and at what load a unit can operate.

RatingConditionsPurpose
Primeunlimited hours, average load up to 70 %, 10 % overload for no more than 1 h in 12primary source
Standbygrid failure only, average load up to 80 %, less than 500 h per year, no overloadbackup
Data centerunlimited hours at variable loaddata center backup
