Countries
Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus
Data center conditions differ in each country: power availability, climate, data and certification requirements. The essentials in brief.
Countries
Russia
The modular data center market is growing, and power has become the main constraint.
- Market
- estimated at RUB 3.5-5 billion in 2024 with a forecast of multifold growth by 2030; the share of requests with a modular option is growing.
- Capacity
- Moscow restricts grid connection of new data centers; in about 60% of projects site power is not ready when the module arrives.
- Data center register
- since 01.03.2026 the Ministry of Digital Development maintains a data center register; inclusion requires two independent power feeds.
- Refrigerants
- importing pre-charged equipment requires a quota; we ship circuits under nitrogen and charge them on site.
- Public procurement
- the national regime for public procurement applies; we work with commercial customers and through Russian partners.
Countries
Kazakhstan
The country is building AI clusters and looking for sites with energy.
- Projects
- Data Center Valley in Ekibastuz: the first 125 MW data center in 2027, up to 1 GW in the long term; expansion of AI sites in Kosshy.
- Autonomy
- data centers hosting government data require 72 hours of autonomy.
- Climate
- frost down to -40 °C in the north and center; free cooling in Astana 4-7 months a year, hybrid schemes are needed.
- Capacity
- available industrial power is hard to find; energy storage reduces the requested grid connection capacity.
Countries
Uzbekistan
The data center market is being built from scratch, and quickly.
- Projects
- announced data center commitments exceed USD 6 billion; new Tier III sites at the national operator.
- AI special zone
- in Karakalpakstan - USD 8 billion of projects and a mandate to provide 1 GW of power supply; a preferential tariff for large investors.
- Outages
- long outages in summer and scheduled restrictions in the heat: autonomy is required.
- Heat
- up to +45 °C and above: adiabatic cooling and heat exchanger margin.
Countries
Belarus
Energy surplus and proximity to Moscow.
- Energy
- since the nuclear power plant was commissioned, the country has an electricity surplus.
- Latency
- 13-20 ms to Moscow by estimate: suitable for backup sites.
- Experience
- together with a local telecom operator we completed technical approval of a containerized data center with design engineers.
Based on public data as of 10.2026. Conditions change; we confirm the current picture for your project when preparing the concept.
